Coverage Area

With the nation-wide upgrade to digital television transmission, getting low quality images, ghosting and interference noise are a thing of the past. As long as you are in an area that has variable to good television coverage, you should be able to get the best quality out of your television set.

Coverage area is created by the television signal sent from a transmission tower. There are different levels of coverage in a coverage area. The closer or higher your location is the better quality coverage you receive. Most metropolitan areas have access to signals that provide decent high definition images. To check your area, head over to the mySwitch portal and enter your location.
